WOW..they are beautiful...congrats!

Congratulations! Beautiful birds! Thanks for sharing their photos.

Kinny, they are stunning! You must be so happy to have them home:)

Beautiful birds! Congrats :)
My mom has a pet Princess parrot "Patches". He's so entertaining and funny, but typical grass keet doesn't tolerate any touching.

Strange to see Princesses with normal beaks! Our guy, Kermit, of the deformed beak, has a father who was "lime" but I haven't found that mutation. From memory, it was paler than the normal colours. The only mutation I've seen that I especially like is pied. I don't know what Kermit would do with a hen Princess... he spends time with other species especially wieros.

Thanks everyone! :)
Actually Raven, it was 'Patches' who inspired me to make the decision to get our pair. ;P

I know what you mean Mike17! I used to own a Jenday (rescued her) with a deformed beak and so whenever i saw a normal Jenday...it just looked weird to me.

A face only a Mother could love <3

Yep, this pair produces lime (also called cinnamon and faded), blues and silvers. Lime is just, yeah, paler than normal.

Well all the Kaks and Princesses now jump to the front of the aviaries when it's food time! :) Not afraid at all anymore, yay!

Thanks everyone! :)

Aww! Thanks :) I just only saw this old post today! Patches would be happy LOL. He's such a funny guy, and his voice when he talks always makes me laugh :D Maybe your male breeder will pick up some words too ;)

Kinny! You have many Kakarikis (I am jealous because they are really cute and colorful! I want a second one), but I have a question! What is black eyed clear I always hear of it! So what is black eyed clear and even more in question of what color is the iris when dilated???
