- RIP Hugo (African Brown Headed Parrot) 2 years old, lil Rosie May (Lovebird)
Its been months since I was on the forum. Life tends to take us on journeys that move us off the paths we have grown accoustomed to. A week hasn't gone by that I haven't thought of the forum and the people who I have grown to know and call my friends. This thread is a salute to what a forum like this can do to the lives of our feathered friends as well as the people that own them. I was an active member for many months and the support, friendship and kindness I found here got me through the good and hard times. Logging in everyday was like a breath of fresh air and I not only found support and solace with parrot related topics but the friends I made were their by my side in my everyday walk in life.
I miss this forum so much and want you all to know - old and new members - that I have been truly blessed being actively involved. Even though circumstances make it difficult to still be actively involved I pray for blessings and only the best for each and every member. Unfortanetly my "live-wire" princess - Rosie - decided to go for an adventure and I was unable to find her. I have no doubt that someone needing a companion has found her and she is blessing someone elses life. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her but she truly was such an amazing bird.
To all my friends, especially my sis and Mishi and Di and "Big Rosie" I will always be so grateful for those months of laughter, tears and comraderie. Maybe one day I will be back with my sense of humour and another "Live wire" Mwah, xxxxx
