Hi, my name is Doug and I just inherited a parrot and am trying to find info on parrots in general and this one in specific. I am told he is an african green but can't find much info about them. From his coloring he could also be an amazon blue fronted parrot. I'll try to attach a pic. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, indeed, that is a Blue Fronted Amazon. Many congrats on your new companion.
