My neighbor and I saw this poor ringneck sitting outside in a tree today. He looked scared and was just sitting there for many hours and was hungry (he escaped from somewhere and we don't know from where). Suddenly the bird flew right inside my neighbor's condo when she opened her front door and make himself right at home! He is a VERY sweet and super gentle bird. He was very uneasy around me at first and didn't trust me of course but then let me cuddle him and he also steps up and LOVES looking in th mirror making funny sounds.

We are trying to find his real owner but I'm kind of doubtful if we will succeed so I am posting this incase anyone here can give him a good and HAPPY home if I can't find his real owner??

Here is a video and pic of him... I am in love with this ringneck LOL... but I already have 2 tiels and can't handle 3 birds right now :(

does he have a leg band? That would help narrow the search. Apart from that try asking at vets if anyone has reported one missing. Naturally make them prove it's their parrot, a lot of opportunists will hear about found pets, claim it's theirs then it'll be up on craigslist within the hour as a "delightful family pet, very heartfelt sale due to no longer having time, goes to everyone" for about $1000

Definitely be sure to check out the facebook page '911 parrot alert' and post the found bird there. Someone may be looking for him!
