A feather fell off Raven tonight, and I gave it to Griffin. He was so cute playing peekaboo with Raven's feather, I just had to share :). Raven is twice Griffin's size.

Great pictures, the second picture especially is too much :D !!! He would be a perfect model for bird magazines and books!
I wish I was lucky as Griffin to be able to hold a Bronze Wing feather!

Thanks Reid... I can hold the feather, but rarely the Bronze Winged himself!

Aw, thank you so much :). I just love him to bits too!!!
Griffin is really one of the "cutest" birds I've ever seen (including all my birds and ones I've had and loved in the past). His funny little personality, adorable peeps and whining noises, the funny little mannerisms like the way he flips his body end over end down the side of the cage, hops and leaps with both feet, and his super soft gray "fur" as I call it lol, all that just melts my heart, he is the cutest little thing ever. I call him my furry forest animal because sometimes he doesn't even seem like a bird! It makes me forgive him when he bites or acts extra naughty!

I gotta agree, Griffin is one of the most adorable birds I've seen yet!

And, I forgot to mention, but I've gotta start using your saying about "holding feathers and unable to hold them" more often :smiley4::smiley4: thats way too true with my parakeets.

Hahaha! That second pic is hilarious!!! Griffin is a trip!

Awwwww.... Griffin is just so cute Julie! It's almost like "this came from my besets buddy, so I'm going to cherish this feather":D

Julie, these pics are adorable! Griffin is so adorable. Looks like he was posing with the feather. I knew Raven was bigger than Griffin, but I didn't know he was so much bigger. I've never seen a bronze wing in person.

Better be careful, or he'll run off to join a burlesque show. :D

LOL I think he's much too "boyish" for that! He reminds me of an active " rough and tumble" little boy haha.

Thank you so much for the kind comments everyone :D I really appreciate it!

Omg, so cute! I seriously love that second photo, he looks so happy to be holding and playing with his bestie's feather. They have a Ruppell's parrot at the pet store near me, and every time I visit I always think of Griffin and his adorableness :D

Awww Griffin. You really do love your bestie don't ya? You are such a lucky birdie to have a bronzed wings feather. :)

Chantal, really?! Ooh, I'd love to see another Ruppell's :). I know there is a fairly well known breeder up there in Canada who breeds them, not sure what part. It would be intersting to compare others with Griffin, as I've never seen another Ruppell's in person. Id especially like to see other males. I know he's on the small end for his species, but I wonder if certain personality characteristics are just him, or if other Ruppell's males have some of the same behavior traits. He's so unlike other Poi's I'm familiar with.
