Hi, everyone;
just joined as had lucked onto this forum after trying to puzzle out a wound on my African Grey, a bruise that is turning a very bright green. One of the members here posted pictures of the bruising process on her macaw, I believe it was...thanks so much...Lilli? Can't remember her name and let the thread go. But really allayed my fears. My African Grey is 18 years old, (I put a deposit on her before she was hatched) a female, in beautiful shape, and is named Tsuioku (Swee-oh-coo) which is Japanese for "remembrance." I named her after my mother and stepmothers, both great bird lovers, both deceased.
Glad to be here. Have a great weekend!
