This forum is awesome! I have visited several other parrot forums in my search for information about GCCs prior to the arrival of our new family member and have found none as fantastic as this one!

I have found the members of this forum to be super friendly, helpful and welcoming and no one has dismissed my stupid questions as being stupid!
So I just wanted to post a big 'THANK YOU' to all of you for making this a warm, friendly and informative place to visit! I know I will have tons more questions and feel very comfortable knowing I have great advice just a keyboard away! :35: :jumping40

I have to agree, hands down! Best forum for bird lovers. I joined a facebook group for conures recently, worst thing I have done. I said hello to the group and mentioned that we were shopping for a sun conure and asked if anyone knew of some sun's for sale in Ohio. I even mentioned that we have been researching suns for a couple of months now. I was hammered with childish comments about how I might not be ready for a sun, don't get a sun, suns are so loud, do you know what your getting into. Needless to say, I told them all it was a mistake joining that group and left. So glad everyone here is so nice!

People here are passionate with their birds, sometimes passionate brings on bickering and such, but such is life. We try to let everyone remain calm so I'm glad you guys are enjoying your time here as we welcome all bird owners to join us for the chats and sharing information with one another. There's always something new to learn doesn't matter how long you've owned birds so it's always nice to have another set of information to pass around.
