Sun Conure
:orange: OK i have rescued a sun conure a while ago that is about 4-1/2years old. he was part of a pair but the other one got killed by the P.O's dogs and they were looking to find him a new home because he would freak out around there dogs (10 i kid you not 10 chihuahuas) well long story short, i have gotten him pretty tame again. i was thinking of getting another sun conure is there any chance of having them in the same cage after the quarintine? the new sun would be a hand feed baby
thanks for any help you can give

If they got along, you could possibly put them in a cage together. However, they may become more attached to each other, and not want as much to do with you anymore.

OK so instead of another sun conure:orange:, me and my wife fell in love with a little green cheek conure.:green1: anyone have a green cheek and a sun together?

My breeder had some baby green cheeks being fed with eachother and they seem to be having a lot of fun. Mind you these were babies though, though I don't see to much of a issue with the two together.

One thing, I was told Sun Conure can get bossy with new cage mates at times if they are accustomed to having the sole attention of their owner lol, so maybe be something to be aware of

My understanding is that suns are quite demanding also. You might try it but just be prepared to put them in separate cages if it doesn't work out?

I would get an other Sun, about the same age. That way, you're not stuck in the same situation when one passes away...

Also, these parrots may not get along at all. My ringneck and blue front tolerate each other, but they are far from best friends.
