Ok, here is one of Gilbert having fun in the sun on Sunday on LBI with me. This was his first time trying his new extended flight lead on the beach. He was a rock star. He didn't have the strength to stretch that shock cord (the extended lead is a heavy cord, not like the cord that is on the leash for the little bird harnesses) but was able to fly the entire length of it, and around in circles. He seemed to have a WONDERFUL experience. I can't wait to take him again. (That's my friend in the background--i made her hold him and i ran to the end of the lead with the camera and called him.)
