Josey Update

I think my training is going pretty well because Josey keeps rewarding me. If macaws could roll their eyes like a teenager then I think Josey would at me. I feel like she has a sense of humor. I have gotten her completely on a pellet diet but in some way I think she wants to tell me only because she wanted to. Still a struggle with veggies and fruits. If she doesn't want it she will take it out of her bowl and go to the other side of her cage and drop it. I shared a banana the other day with her, Athena and Zeus .. Josey cage is huge. It is over 6feet. She was above me on her cage and she make this weird noise right as I look up she throws up banana on me. I don't think I will ever eat one again. Took her to the Vet and they said she was fine. Last week Josey was training me on how she likes to take a shower.. If I do something wrong she gives me a little nibble and shout.. If I do it right she will kiss me. So I think I am almost broke in.. Lol.. I will never regret this decision. I love her so much

What a GREAT update...and it was hilariously documented, especially the part about the recycled banana right on you. HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Doesn't it feel like she's been with you forever, and each day is a new adventure?

Yes I can't imagine my life without her. Or any of them. This has been the biggest blessing. I am so glad that I found the forum. Because I would have never gotten her because I would have never thought I could do it. This afternoon we all went out in the rain. I think they think I am crazy and they need to take care of me ... Lol I only did it or a couple of minutes but I wanted them to feel it. Athena loved it. Thank you everyone or all the help
