south wales great Briton
jasper has been in a lovely mood today liam my godson who lives with us let him out and he flew to me he was really good just little nibbles i had to share my cup of tea with him i have to cover my ear's and neck just in case .Any way i don't trust him when he started to get a bit ruff i put him back in his cage i just cant make him out he does love liam more though but to day he was my boy

reward him for being good and just work on socialization through the cage. If you start to feel nervous, putting him back is a pretty good idea. Just remember to tell him he's a good boy and give him treats when he's good

My mother was shocked the first time my Amazon flew over to her recliner & stuck his beak in her teacup. The vet told me 100% juices were good for him so I give him apple & grape juice in his own cup. It makes him feel grown up. I think he forgets he's a bird sometimes.

Ours eat dinner with us every night and they love it! In fact it is funny when one of us are cooking and they can smell it they get a little loud because they know it is soon time to eat and they are impatient.

I never realized they would have such a great sense of smell. If we're cooking something that he particularly likes, it doesn't matter what floor he is on he will fly to the kitchen & sit on the stool & wait to be the taste tester. lol

Our birdies like to "help" in the kitchen. It makes preparing dinner a bit challenging, but we're working on proper behavior.

The other day I made Thai food and Ruby found the left over Thai chili peppers. Suffice to say, I'm glad I had already prepped the ones I needed. She gets a couple in her bowl with breakfast now.
