Mango--"My New Year's Resolution is to steal more of Dad's dinner!"






There is a story behind this photo...

So Mango is attached to one of his toys, very very much. Well, my husband tossed it across the room one day and Mango flew after it, landed on the ground, chirped at it, looked at him, then back at the toy. So then my husband made himself something to eat (chicken strips) and Mango flew up onto his plate, looked straight at my husband's face as if to say "This is for what you did to my toy!" and then started just eating his chicken! It was so darn funny because it was like he was paying my husband back! Mango is normally a very timid and shy bird who doesn't act so bold, so it was rather surprising!



oh and an older video for anyone's curiosity, this show's Mango's behaviour with his favourite toy, he must always be with it. He snuggles with it and everything. And in this video he dropped it off the ledge and had to follow it down lol

currently he does not have his ball because he kept feeding it and it got kinda gross, so we took it away to clean it, and to give him a break from feeding it. for the first while he looks a bit lost without it, but then is just fine after. but he gets all excited when he sees it again lol he'll even attack his bossy sister over it if she gets too close to it

AAAWWWWWWEEEEEE..... Its so cute and pathetic, I felt bad when he dropped it. like the robin hood baking commercial when they little boy drops his muffin and tears up.

Oh yeah, you can definitely see it in his demeanor that he's being a trickster. Ignore the beak and force him to step up. He'll cut it out real quick haha. My GW used to do the exact same thing.

My birds love to nibble my yarn and they LOVE to chew the safety pins/needles and my crochet hooks!
