I've had a terrible nights sleep

Over the years I've had so many pets spayed and neutered and I've never worried a ton. I've had far larger surgeries that didn't keep me up all night.

Anyways, our Willow is in today for her spay and I'm just a nervous wreck. I kept waking up during the night with stupid dreams, like I forgot to feed the animals and would wake up all worried, I grinded my teeth enough to wake me up.

Really silly I know, all should be just fine, it's a routine surgery.

I'm sure it'll all be OK. Think of it this way: if YOU don't get enough sleep, it is more likely you'll forget your keys, or to change their water, or your pants, or something. So sleep!

Years ago, when I had a bunny, I did the same thing, read too much about it and scared myself. The female bunny spay surgery is a little more complicated than the male bunny neuter, and it's really better to get a "bunny vet," which I'm sure you did. The experts at that hardly ever have issues. Here's hoping she did just fine. Hoping you report back soon.

We just got her home and settled in. She's really dopey right now but seems unfazed so far.

Thank you for all the good wishes.

I'm glad everything worked out as expected :) and she's back home. I love seeing pics of Willow, she is the cutest bunny I've ever seen! Looking forward to an update.

What a cute bunny... what breed is she ? :bunny7:

Well, we originally thought she was a tribble.

Then Allie thought perhaps a muppet.

But really she is a lionhead. :) yes, her hay sticks to her butt a lot.

Such beautiful pics, my favorite is the baby pic! I just can't get over what a precious adorable little creature she is!

So it looks like the "hair" on her head can be brushed back, or over her face like bangs. You can make different hairstyles lol. When it's brushed back she just can't get any cuter.

Does she shed like a cat or dog?

Her hair super super super soft. I use one of the small metal dog combs to brush her and it just comes out and never seems to fall out all over the place. Most bunnies do what they call a molt a couple times a year. They pretty much loose it all and get new hair under. Though some can shed more often, kinda like a cat.

I'll take a picture the next time it happens...she'll look like she has mange.

I love soft things lol. Not a big shedder is a plus. That's it, I want one!!!
