It's Official!

I have no where else to put this because no one would understand except other bird people, but Kazi is officially mine! The rescue declared me his forever home the other day!

I know that sounds a bit off, but at the rescue you only foster for the first year and THEN, if it looks like everything's going ok, you get to officially adopt. But I've made a lot of progress with Kazi so I was declared his permanent forever home the other day and I was so excited! I never thought it wouldn't happen or anything, but just knowing it's 'official' is a big relief and makes him feel more like a part of the family now.
