Finally got the DNA back today on my lovely baby...I was so surprised! I really had myself convinced she was a he and only had boy names picked out. But after a little debate between Zelda and Willow, I have decided on Willow. (going to try to attach a pic of her, it was taken about a week ago she is a little more sure on her feet and more feathered now.
:)

Beautiful baby!

She's been dabbling with eating on her own now for a few days, this morning ( I feed her at 7 am every morning) I got everything ready to go and she took a little from me then walked away to flap her wings...she was way more interested in flapping than eating, I kept trying but she just didn't care, she wanted to Flap!
I went and checked her bowl in her cage and WOW she ate a bunch on her own! I give her a mixture of pellets of different sizes and a small bit of seed.
I guess she's letting me know she doesn't need the hand feeding as much now, she ate about half the normal amount from me today.
I guess we will be working down to just 1 feeding a day if she keeps this up :)
I can also tell if she would let go with her feet she could fly right off, but I am guessing she isn't too sure of herself yet so she hangs on when exercising
