ISO: Small to Medium sized bird in MD

Hey all!

Looking for a parrot to purchase or adopt. Open to conures, quakers, IRNs, African greys, and Macaws. Not interested in Cockatiels, Cockatoos, or Amazons.

He/she would be living with my mom, dad and I. My dad won't be very involved in the bird's care. My mom and I are both experienced bird owners.

We have a medium sized dog and a cat, but they're both very chill and have lived with birds.

Willing to travel to states next to Maryland like Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.

Open to rescue?

If you are anywhere near Rockville, MD you could go to the Petco next to the Michaels. Ask for the lady who runs the bird department, Connie I think her name is. She might know of a bird in need of rescue. Good gal, I've known her for probably a decade now. She used to shop at the parrot store where I worked.



Moved away From MD a year or so ago.



Tell her "the girl who had adopted Crayon says hi" if you do go to see her.
If she doesn't know of any who need a home, there are a couple other people I could ask about birds for adoption in the MD area for you.
