Is this tea safe for parrots?

There are problem with allowing parrots to drink more then a few sips of caffeine free, weak human teas. It's the wording when looking at results even at bird sites; can, could, should, may, expected etc. If your parrot likes the taste, a few sips of weak, unsweetened is fine. Expect calming effects may tempt you to use a stronger solution. So care is important. Chamomile effects the central nervous system. Calming and relaxation the expected results. People, birds, dogs etc can have different responses. These can range from none to positive to severely negative. Think of folks you know who can drink a pot of thick, strong black coffee with no visible effects. Then the individuals who drink a few sips of watery brew and are hyper for hours.
