My Quaker parrot's beak looks dry. It hasn't been like this for long but I don't know if it's a problem. It still acts fine, but I'm just wondering if I should do anything.
What do you mean by "it looks dry?" Birds' beaks are always dry, and sometimes they even look to shed some of their beak, as the beak is growing. It's really nothing to worry about.
I should have phrased the question better, sorry I'm in a hurry. It looks like it might be shedding some . I'm kind of new to raising parrots so I don't know a lot about things like this.
If you notice his feathers looking dull or dry or his skin looks dry, he may not be bathing properly or the humidity in your house may be too dry. Try squirting him with water every few days if he doesn't bath.
