Is there any safe paints for touching up a rusted/ chipped bird cage?

I have a large cage that has started to chip and rust, I’ve sanded those spots down, I’m just wondering if there’s any safe spray paints available to cover it up. No birds would be in the cage until the paint is done curing, and of course the cage would be painted outside.

Not that I know of, but other members may have advice. When one my my cages starts rusting, I just transition to a new one, but I understand that not everyone can afford to buy a new cage regularly.

I have a girlfriend that has used Eco paint, but with that being said it hasn't been but a few months that she moved her birds into the cage she painted with it. She keeps canaries, so I don't think they really chew on the cage. https://ecospaints.net/specialty-products/gloss-pet-dwellings-paint
