Is my budgie tame?

Hello,
I’m unsure as to wether or not my budgie is 100% tamed, he stands on my finger in and out of the cage so is he classified as tamed? I haven’t done any other training as I am building a T-stand.

well, that would be something you have more knowledge than we do lol. Does he bite? does he step up? Does he run away from you when you try and pick him up? Tame means just that, tame. If he's tame, you'll know it.

thanks, he doesn't bite or anything, but is still a little bit hesitant to step up, so maybe ill work with him for a while longer.

Sounds like he is on his way to being very tame. I could never get my parakeets to do anything so I am in awed over the progress of your little guy.

thats a shame you couldn't tame your parakeet. have you tried coaxing him on your finger with millet?
