- B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
Budgies are fantastic little guys. Personally, I think any age budgie can be tamed. They are such wonderful birds. In my experience if you interact with your budgie and are not mean to her she will tame herself even. But there are also some wonderful taming tips around on this forum(anyone have the link to reeb's thread? I'm on my phone).
Maybe I'm biased, but budgies are just the best. I've had birds for nearly 20 years(since I was an 8 year old girl), worked in private zoos, etc etc etc, and I will never get tired of budgies.
