Green Cheek Conure
My conure does this and I think it's so cute but I just wanted to make sure this isn't something self destructive. I don't see any blood or lost feathers. But he sounds like he is fighting.

It looks to me like play.
I have a cockatiel that likes to have fights with his foot.
And my Yellow nape likes to bite his legs when he gets into a big fight with his toys.

But not sure the little hut is a good idea.
Can promote egg laying in females and hormones in both male/female.

Thank you so much. It's a straw tunnel open on both ends. *edit its palm not straw

What Tex said!

Yeah, my Rickeybird does all kinds of reckless, nutty stuff with his toys. I sometimes have to take away those that seem to inspire danger, for sure, substituting safer stuff like... a head of broccoli, a whole carrot, whole nuts...

Thanks for sharing.
