I am looking to add an IRN to our family. I currently have an Alexandrine who is 14 months old. I would love to purchase a blue or turquoise IRN. Also, I've read that IRN's are agressive, is this true? And are their beaks as big as the Alexandrine's?:54:

IRNs beaks are not as big as an alexandrine's beak. I do not know about the aggression issues though. Despite a recent unfortunate event with an incubator, I still firmly believe Bird Mania in Emmaus is a great place to look, and either be put on a list or point you in the right direction. Love playing with their babies!
Depending upon how comfortable you are with shipping, I know the breeder I am getting my daughter's Hahns macaw from in Florida (best bird aviary) has a nice selection of young IRN and will happily answer your questions via email or phone.
