Hi, I am new to the parrot forum, although I am not new to bird ownership. I have a Sulfer Crested Cockatoo, and Umbrella Cockatoo and a Goffin Cockatoo, as well as two Conures. All of which are rescues,
My question is this.... The Goffin Cockatoo is a newer rescue. Very friendly and loves to be pet, but is terrified of being held. Will not step up. Does not accept and types of treats at all
I don't know what kind of life it had before us, but it is starved for attention.
Since she wont take treats and wont step up to anything, does anyone have ideas on how to safely get her in and out of her cage ?
