I came here to find out more about a species of parrot I am looking to acquire in the near future. I am in Canada, and currently own a female lovebird who is around 7... She was a rescue/rehome so not 100% sure on her actual age.
I had another lovebird who unfortunately passed away from a tumour in November 2011. He was the most amazing bird ever, just the sweetest, cuddliest and cutest little thing. I love the female too, but she was never hand-tamed and we have more of a mutual respect relationship than a bond like I had with my boy. I miss him so much
