My wife and I have two parrots, a Quaker parakeet and an African Grey (Timneh). Their names are Rex and Maddie respectively. Rex is of unknown age, and attached to myself and Maddie is about 13 years old and attached to my wife. We've had Rex for almost 2 years and Maddie for 7 years. Rex was a rescue and Maddie was a gift from my mother who didn't want to care for her.
