Hi guys.....

As I mentioned in my first (and only) post, I discovered this board lastnight and am so glad to have found you all! So just to introduce myself.... I live in Seattle with my two cats and my two birds.... Nikki and Charlie. And since we all love pictures, I thought I'd share a few.

So here is Nikki. She will be 3 years old in September. Nikki is, well, she's like most sunnies. Loveable, demanding, loud.... my first parrot love, and I do love her with all my heart.....

and here she is enjoying the shower.... this is one of my all time favorite shots...

and here is my little Charlie, who is 15 months old. She is female, but I didn't know that when I gave her the name Charlie. Charlie is a funny little monkey, very loveable, but with one quirk... she doesn't like to be handled by humans. She will come to the front of her cage and dance around in much excitement when you approach and talk to her, but if you open her cage door and try to get her to come to you, she will go hide. She loves to come out of her cage and she takes such delight in flying around, it is a beautiful thing to see. But I wish she enjoyed people more. When I do get her to come to me, she LOVES scritches. But then the next time you try to get her to come to you, she runs.

And the two of them together....

Guess that's enough for now, but I am looking forward to putting up more pictures, and seeing pictures of all of your fids, getting to know you all, and sharing our experiences and questions and advice concerning these wonderful babies!

Great pictures!!! Thanks for supporting our addiction (especially Peta's :D) Your fids are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Sorry that Charlie doesn't like being handled, maybe someday she'll come around...love and patience. Charlie's colors are so interesting, I love the different hues! Anyway, thanks again for the pictures, and welcome!

:) :) I am so happy to see your pictures! I am Tex's fiance and we have a sunnie and a green cheek too. They are so much fun!!! You birds are very pretty. Your greek cheek has such interesting colors. Lots more orange and red then my little guy has. (I'll have to get Tex to post some pictures cause thats his department) Mac (our green cheek) is very personable but also plays with Hamlet (our sun) as well. Do your two play together? I am looking forward to hearing your stories!

Awww...what beautiful birds!!! Those pics are too cute!

Dito the welcome, ur guys are gorgeous look forward to many more picis

Oh my they are beautiful, I had to laugh when I saw the shower one, I have one exactly the same eyes closed having a wonderful time, the only difference was the bird, mine was a grey. :D

They are beautiful babies. I look forward to hearing and seeing lots more of them.

Yes, Yes, those are cute birdies ... I have to say, thought, that by looking at Charlie, I think that she is a Pineapple mutation as her colours are too vibrant for just a regular GCC ... What great pics, and Yes, I will get some of our gurs up again!

Your fids are very very beatifull but I think I'm in love...:07:

Her name is Charlie!:07::07: :D
