Injured toe?

So, I was doing some birdie training with Oz just now and noticed a little reddish-orange bump on his toe. As if he'd bruised it or something and wondering if it's something I should worry about. He doesn't mind me touching his feet so I touched every toes one by one with no reaction except for the one that looked injured, when I touched it, he lunged at my finger with a little screech and rapid fire bitting (I did it twice to be sure it wasn't just a 'leave me alone' reaction).

Other than that, he's his usual cheerful self. He's whistling, begging for scritches and trying (and failing for the last year lol) to seduce Kaila. He's not limping and I noticed no blood in the cage.

Can I get a reply please? I've noticed earlier tonight that there was a half detached crust over it and when I picked him up to inspect it it fell off with his struggling (he hates being toweled but I wanted a good look at it). Now it's back to looking slightly irritated, still no blood. I just want to know if it's the normal healing process of an small wound for a bird or if it's something I should keep a close eye on... Sorry if the answer may seem obvious, but I,ve only had birds for a couple years and that's the first time I see this so... Better safe than sorry no?

He also seems pretty moody right now, but he just started his molt so I can't say if it's due to pain or molting crankiness...

Is there a way to get us a picture? That would be helpful.

Also, where exactly on his toe is this bump? Is it on the underneath side? Top? Side? What kind of perches does he have (please list every kind). My first thought is bumblefoot, but without pictures it's hard to tell....

I can get a pic, but it's a bad one since I don't have anything other than my phone on hand. I can get a better one in the morning...

The wound's changed thought, now it's a darker red and slightly raised (a little bump). I think it might be dried blood, but I'm not certain. It's located at the top of one of his toes.

The perches they have are: rope, branch and one of the standard manufactured wooden ones. There's no sandpaper perches in the cage.

I'd just keep an eye on it for now and see that it heals and goes away. If it starts looking swollen or infected or seems worse then medical attention would be needed.

Nothing looks glaringly wrong to me either, but definitely have a vet look at it if t doesn't get better in a few days..
