Bottoms up, Venus! Thanks guys. We're having out-of-cage time now, and I'm tracking down Duke's old vet. I think I found out where MIL bought him, so I'm off to track down bird fairs from 2007 . . . hoping to maybe find his breeder, or if he's actually an older fella. I know his beak was fully colored when he came to her, so that puts him around 11 or 12, which is helpful to know.
He smells like honey now, you guys. He used to smell musty, like a dirty cage. And he's showing so much more of his personality. I'm so glad. And so grateful to you all for helping me out.
