Indian ringneck

Hi all! We have a female indian ringneck, shes less than a year old. When we first got her she was a very sweet bird who loved people, now all she does is bite you and be aggressive.

Any suggestions?

Ps, l don't know all info as it is my sisters bird

I’m very sorry to hear that your Indian ring neck has changed as she’s aged. This is very common as parrots grow up, and become more independent. Look for pin feathers. It’s spring where I’m at so my parrots are on the hormonal side of things. They can become quite snippy when hormonal.

Also how much time does the parrot get out daily? They require quite a bit of attention to be friendly.

I have a few friends that have Indian ring neck parrots. They can be sketchy of hands from what I’ve been told. Has anyone tried target training?
