Indian Ringneck

Hi All

We have an Indian Ring Neck, it has started to scratch and his feathers have started to fall off, it doesnt look too pretty, we are feeding it Extra Select Cockatiel & Big Parakeet Food: Complete High-Protein Bird Seed Mix for Indoor Birds from amazon as well as fruits and vegetables but he isnt eating much, can anyone guide us on what the issue could be.

It looks like he's plucking his feathers to me but I'm no expert. Other forum members have more knowledge about feather problems and will help you. All I can say is a check up with an avian vet is your first step to rule out illness or deficiency. I hope you can get him to the bird doctor soon. The Moderators have an international list of Avian vets they can provide you with. What country and region do you live in?
