Hello everyone,

Every time after hand feeding, my 8 weeks old Indian Ringneck make some strange sounds with his tongue.

Does anyone know what this means?

I uploaded the video on Youtube:

Thank you!

Very cute! He's just grinding his beak, which parrots do when they are feeling relaxed, content, and full. It's like the bird version of purring. They do it often after eating a good meal, after bathing, and in the evening when they're winding down to go to sleep. It's a good sound :)

Oh, thank you Kalidasa. It seems that I was scared for nothing. I was afraid that sign mean it is dehydrated.
