In a bit of a panic...the good kind!

Sorry for the copius amount of posts guys....we are learning as much as we can before Kiki comes home. We just heard that if her weaning continues to go well tht we may have her as early as next Saturday! ! I have decided on purchasing a Celltei Pak-o-Bird carrier for her with the aluminum mesh because it seems to be the most secure and comfortable way for us to show her the world outside her cage.
My question is whether anyone here is using this type of carrier and what size. I am torn between small and medium as it will be her hotel when we travel to see family and friends as well as for camping. The small seems to be best and the medium appears to be just taller and height really isn't an issue with her short tail feathers. I can get one rushed here as asap so we can use it for a family birthday we plan to attend on the 28th but what size to get?

We love Celltei! We got the medium. If you talk to the lady who makes them, there's a wider version. We travel with 2 Caiques comfortably that way.

The medium would be very 'roomy' for a caique! It is like wearing a very large backpack, though it is not heavy at all. A small would fit a bird of that size comfortably, but if you will be frequently taking your bird on overnight trips, you may want the medium for the additional room
