Congratulations! I got my pineapple conure when it was 3 months old. Kiwi is now 5 months old and is so playful and loving. Just give your lil birdie time to adjust to its new home and I'm sure you will two will be best of friends! What is your birds name? :)

Welcome, I also have a conure and love him to bits. Conures have lots of personality.

WELCOME! They're are a lot of people who have conures on here so you will be in good hands with any questions you have for these lovely people. Just be careful not to get addicted....as I think I have. Lol

Does she eat the pellets after the seeds are gone? Some are very picky and will literally pick out their favorite before going on to the next favorite and so on. I'm not sure about the pellets personally but I've seen a few people who do use the zupreem pellets. Ducati gets a mix of fresh veggies with some bean and couscous for dinner. For breakfast he gets a fruit and veggie dried blend that has some pellets in it. I ordered it from mysafebirdstore.com. If she's just eating the seed or there are too many seeds for her to get through, maybe try limiting the seeds. Or take them out completely and see how she does and just use those seeds for training.

i took out all the seeds and she completely wen nuts when she didnt see them there and didnt bother for her pellets at all and at the moment i dnt have a perch where i can train her yet and today i was practicing the step up command and she bit me really hard where she actually drew blood :(

Does she take treats from your hand pretty confidently or is she still a little skittish. I wouldn't be surprised if she was still skittish since you've only had her for a short while.

I don't know how to get her to eat pellets. Like I said Ducati mainly gets fresh veggies or the dried fruit and veggie blend. He took to the dried stuff like that, but it took some enticing for him to eat the chop. I had to put some of his old seed mix in there so he would at least try it. But that wouldn't work with pellets since it's bigger. Somebody else may chime in who has experience in that.
