- Angel the blue and gold macaw, mimsy the lesser sulphur too, rocky the galah & willow the blue crowned conure.
as some of you know i live near to a parrot rescue and have been helping out. i adopted rocky a few months back and recently a 14 year old red rump, who had to have a beak made from resin because his was broken
well, the lady who runs the rescue centre came to visit and asked if i would be willing to adopt some of the smaller birds, i'm currently building a huge aviary.. so the more the merrier!
i have a stanley rosella with a poorley foot, a lutino cockatiel who lost her 33 year old mate! and a love bird lola who was also alone, well lola was quarantined and i have a lovebird gracie who wanted a friend. i put the cages near each other and they've been tweeting non stop!
a few days later i opened both cages and gracie landed on lola's and flew back into her own, it was like an invitation. lola flew straight into gracies cage and BOOM love at first sight! you could slmost see the fireworks...they've been preening each other ever since and are inseperable! i'm so happy!!
have added a pic of lola
