hello guys! im asking for advice from congo greys owners what the best cage size for such parrot?
i did some research and majority of online information sites recommend and suggest to get a cage of these dimensions, 24"d x 36"w x 48"h (61cm x 91cm x 122cm) im curious as to people what people think of this, ive owned parrots before and gotten a cage that size for a singular lovebird/cockatiel. Like what!?
i guess what im asking is what size of cage you all suggest, he/she would need to be comfortable for 5 hours when im at work but will be out when im home.
(minimum 5 1/2 hours out of cage time, and im willing to spend a lot)

Your info sounds reasonable to me, but I'm not expert.
Here's some...
An African Grey can climb vertical bars, but it's not easy for them, so they will need a lot more motivation to do so. A good minimum size for a permanent cage is 24"d x 36"w x 48"h (61cm x 91cm x 122cm). This should put the top of the cage at around five (5) feet from the floor.

Good luck! :)

Bella’s cage is 32” wide by 24” deep.
Don’t know how high but the bottom part 1 foot or so is just legs.

Our grey never goes to the bottom of the cage unless she falls so height isn’t so important.

The large size cage for the lovebirds is a “flight” cage.
It’s big so little bird can fly around and don’t have to be let out .

One thing is important is to give your bird a corner that he/she can hide behind toys and stuff.
