I have one bird. He is a Black Capped Conure and his name is Harley. His hatch date is 2/3/2014.
Harley got into my ice cream. It was vanilla bean and he only had a tiny little bit (about the size of a pencil tip). I know it's dairy but my vet said that some dairy is okay. She suggested cheese for protein. Is he going to be okay? He's a black capped conure.

I think Harley will be fine. Ice cream isn't "good" for him, but the little bit that he got shouldn't hurt him any.

I'm sure if it was just a little bit, he will be fine. They all get into junk food at some point. My green cheek Tiki had a sip of wine once. In the blink of an eye she flew from me, landed on the wine glass on the coffee table and had dipped her beak before I could scoop her up!

I think some people even let their fids have a little nibble of the bad stuff every once in awhile.

Its not toxic, its just high in sugar and too much of it will give him the runs.
