I am very very very scared. The B&G that I visited for the first time two weeks ago has finally changed my mind. I know I will give it a better home. Not because the previous owners was bad. The husband was sick and wife terrified. I kept going over there. He will eat treats out of my hand. I already love him. I am scared my over eagerness of wanting him will make him nervous ... He is beautiful. Wish me luck image.jpg

Oh congrats he is beautiful! Im sure you will do great with him I always worry my overeagerness will affect whatever bird or other animal I am getting but it never seems to :)

You'll do just fine!!!! If you have any problems, there's plenty of us here with B&G that can help!!!! :)

He is GORGEOUS!!! :D
I can completely understand your excitement. Just don't forget to breathe in....breathe out....repeat until you are nice and calm. ;)

Your adventure will soon begin, and it will be a GREAT one. Unless I missed it, what's his name?

I can't wait for him to be with you and to hear of updates. :D

I was a little like this the first couple of days when I brought Frankie home. It was a very similar rehoming situation, and I was so excited, but nervous at the same time. The key to this is to keep a calm demeanor and don't force the bird to do anything it isn't comfortable with. Also, don't be offended if the bird doesn't respond immediately. I have to admit, I was petrified that Frankie didn't like me when she would run from me when trying to put her in the cage the first couple of times. She was nervous, and I wasn't someone she trusted quite yet. Just take it slow. It will be worth it.

Congrats though on the B&G! I'm finding that mine has added so much to my life, and I wouldn't trade her for anything (and I've only had her for a little over a month now).

Beautiful bird congrats:)
