I think Codie is In Love.. lol

As most nof you know, Codie will only tolerate me, and will not have anything to do with anyone else!! Well, I have my Mum here visiting this Week and Codie is besotted by her :11: Everywhere my Mum goes, then Codie follows When she sits down , she then moves to wherever she is and just stares at her! She just wants to be with my Mum the whole time

While my Mum has been here she is ignoring me I think she has fallen in Love with her LOL

My Mum thinks Codie is great She has just said, never, in her wildest dreams did she ever think a Parrot would fall in Love with her lol

The good thing about this situation for me is, that I now know, if ever I have to go away, I can take Codie to my Mums and not have to worry about her! I know that she will be well looked after and will be happy staying with my Mum

My Mum cant quite believe it Wendy! Yes she sits with Codie on her lap petting her! She loves her to bits and my Mum is someone that has always been frightened of Birds, so I think this has also cured her phobia of them

It has made me feel so much better knowing that she will be in good hands if I need to go away

I wonder how Codie will take it when her vacation is over ?
Maybe take your Mum to a pet store and have her pick a toy out for Codie , then have her play with it with her....maybe that will keep her from getting depressed when she leaves...it sounds like they are really smitten with each other , lolol.

My Mum bought a Toy for her the other day as well

Hopefully, when my Mum goes on Sunday Codie will go back to her normal happy self

When you mum leaves, it will take Codie a few days to adjust again, but do not worry Sis..... Codie knows where her bread is buttered.... I will lay my head on the block...
When Sean's girlfriend Dee, stayed over for 6 days previously, Mishka was all over her......... It was to cute to see (even gave me a break LoL) Two days later Mishka was his old self........just calling mommy now, instead of Dee, and following ME all over.

It is very cute to see She just stares at my Mum all the time and as soon as she moves she comes down and trots along behind her, saying " Hello " as she is going along She tried to follow her upstairs yesterday, but could not quite manage to climb them LOL

My Mum is out for the day today and Codie has been fine with me, Thank Goodness
