backstory lutino is a rare mutation in turkey wich can own you alot of money the owner of these birds told me that he would keep breeding them so id would bring him food on the table theyre cage was filled with poop , they are in quarantine know but soon i will place them in a bigger cage i have 8 budgies now arent they lovely:

Wow, I didn't know lutino budgies may be rare somewhere;) Congrats!
I'm sure this one on the right isn't lutino. Lutino budgies never have a blue cere because this mutation "remove" all blue color - including cere.

Rozalka you wrote this before I was about to. But even I was unaware.

I wanted to say - that is a beautiful Lutino male and I have never seen a male with such well developed blue cere.

Can you you share how to differentiate male and female in lutinos? I have never had them. I had albinos and it was very difficult but eventually I could figure it out both by the subtle cere color difference and also the behaviour.

albino is a combination of blue and lutino mutations so everything in lutino is the same like in albinos. I've never had lutino budgies and any kinds of its combinations like albino but I've just looked for some photos on Internet:

How did you "rescue" from a breeder? Did you confiscate the birds? Usually they don't part their birds without money and if you paid money , it is technically not a rescue

Better to buy birds from Breeders who treat them well and keep them in good clean accommodation than such people. Nevertheless your yellow bird with blue cere fascinates me. It is not a Dark eyed Clear that I assumed it was.

So it is possibly a double factor Yellow spangle

They are so beautiful! They look like such a Charmin couple!!
