Hi guys, I'm in research for my new friend forquiet some time, because I wasn't fully convinced yet, I missed thé planned expo, but now I found an offer of GCC. One is natural coloured and oné I like more is turquoise opaline. Do You think, that I should go for him? 15.4. should be a dáte when I can pick and Its very close to my city. He will be 12 weeks old, but raised under thé parents. Is it a good choice?

Cute birds! I kind of like the looks of little shy guy off to the right. Pretty red belly patch and looks like a nice gentle bird in the eyes

Are these birds hand reared or parent raised? Any chance of meeting them to see if one likes you more than the others?

Hello, parents raised, 12 weeks old on 15.4. the person has lots of people interested, So Is asking for reservation and I like the turquoise opaline, should I make a move?

I'm guessing you mean the second guy from the left. He/She looks healthy as far as I can see from the picture. Looks like all the toes are there, no obvious plucking or stress bars, nose looks clear, bright eyes, so I don't see any obvious bad things.

The best thing would be for you to meet him/her and see how you two like each other. But if that's not possible, then go with your gut. If you can't stand to lose him/her to someone else, then make your move.

Even the keeper looks like a caring person. She sent me an email wether I have good cage, enough time for bird etc, so it seems She doesn't want to sell ať all costs. And if you're completely smitten with that turquoise beauty, well, I hope there's some chemsity there in person. One of the reasons I bought the Rickeyburd so long ago was that I was just enchanted by his appearance. To this day, even when he's being a monster, his beauty kinda memserizes me.

A lot of people would tell you that no, it's not a good choice to buy a parent raised chick, but if you are willing and dedicated, and you use positive reinforcement training techniques, then I'd say you shouldn't have any issues at all!

Just be aware that your new little buddy may be scared and unsure for several days or weeks and it will take time to earn her trust, but it will be worth it in the end!
