Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...his/her first full day here...but I haven't noticed any food debris on his house floor yet..I remember it took Jonesy a few days before he ate.

I'm giving the little "grey guy" fresh "wean mix" and a couple pieces of corn niblets and a few peas..try to intice him with a nutraberry.

When I got in from work <2am ish> I HAD to go check on the fella and he was resting comfortably. Shook his clothing and gave out a peep.

Right now as I type..he is on my shoulder, been nibbling my ear,and doing a little beaky grinding,so I assume he is content..his little crest is up.
I just get paniky when I don't see any food eaten

Did the breeder introduce fresh foods at all? My 'tiel avoids ALL new things unless I grab a piece for myself and eat it in front of him.

Consider eating meals together. :) He might catch a hint.

That's pretty awesome that he's eating his veggies! My guy was given veggies while weaning, I saw them in the food dish while he was still weaning. But it seems maybe his sibling was the only one munching on them =(. The avian vet where I took him for his well bird checkup said tiels like crunch and it looks like she called that one perfectly. I keep presenting him with new foods but I have to put them on his feeding mat (flexible cutting board) because he doesn't care to eat anything from my hand.
