Love the pics, Jodi....especially the first one. Great composition!

What Nikon and lenses did you get?

I've got a D300, and it has totally changed my whole photography outlook.

I only wish it could shoot video like the D700.

Looks like I need to get myself a Nikon! The pics are so clear and colorful! Your fids are adorable.

Criminals better watch out we now have a new superhero called Superamos, faster than a speeding train more powerfull than a locomotive fly's like a bird emm!! hmm!! he does that one already lol...

thanks nofearengineer :) it's the nikonD3000 18-55mm
the no video option has taken me a bit to get used to, but I try to keep my phone nearby for those moments. It's totally worth it though, not having the video, simply for the pic quality you can get. I have not played with mine as much as I should to use it to its full potential. I think Santa is bringing me the 55-200 lens *SMILE*

Beautiful !
Amos and ???? Sorry didn't catch his name are stunning birds and sure look like a bundle of fun

Hey your not hurting my scenses any ;), I know I enjoy them and am sure the other members do as well, thanks so much for sharing :)

Never apologize for pictures! :) That first one is GEORGOUS, your fids are adorable!!!! Great toys too, looks like they're livin the cushy life ;)

Doesn't it make you cry (in a good way) that we can spend way to much on toys and our conures are delighted with napkins, curly pasta, ping pong balls and the occasional large button on some twine?

Pheonix Rising, sorry, that's My Neeners ( panini ) with Amos! thanks guys! of course I took some more pics, I'll add them to the thread tomorrow ;)

It is amazing what toys cost and just like my kids, they sometimes get the most enjoyment out of the unexpected (cheaper) things! The majority of the day was spent in a large shallow package box filled with shredded newpaper, paper towels, and disected wood toy pieces, and they loved it =).

Don't ever stop taking and sending us pictures, we love them
Takes beautiful pictures, wow
Love then all, but the first one is my fav "true love"
Thanks for sharing

I have a D3000 too but my baby's afraid of it so far. She barely tolerates me taking pictures with my little iPhone, when I whip out my Nikon it seems to rattle her. I'm hoping she'll get over it soon, but I've got a 55-200mm lens that can take pics from pretty far away. I should use that one more often...

Great pics though. I especially love the kisses going on in the first pic! Too adorable!!

here's some more ..
Ladyelectic since you have the same cam...
I was playing with my camera today and when I was in the menu there was a VIDEO option... I guess I will have to get out the manual and see what that's about because I could have sworn that wasnt an option!
