- 10 year old Sun Conure, Browser. Coming home 6-21-10!
After clicking that link I went off on a 2 hour tour of youtube Conure videos! LOL I am told that in the year and a half that Barbara has had Browser (The 10 year old Sun Conure we are picking up tomorrow), he has NEVER screamed. But I did hear him chirping when on the phone with one of his carriers today, and she said he has made noises loud enough to make her ear ring if he is sitting on her shoulder when he makes that particular noise.
When we set our sights on a Sun we had no idea we fell in love with what could have possibly been THE loudest of the small African parrots. So we are thanking our lucky stars today that when we located an available rescue, he just happens to be a cuddler and not a screamer. LOL Not that it would have mattered though. Once an animal enters this house it does NOT leave, period! I can't believe people actually throw away an animal for doing what comes naturally to them. It hurts my heart
