Yup, it is clearly body language and is defined in the First Thread of the Amazon Forum. Please take the time to read that Thread. It is highlighted in light blue. If more clarity is need, please come back with the question. Remember that Amazons love to be read to, so while you are reading it, I would recommend that you read it aloud to your Amazon.

Please consider, as part of you next Avian Vet visit on having your YNA sex verified.

Moodi, eye pinning and tail fanning can be a part of several different things, some good ( very interested) some not so good ( going into attack mode). As Mr 'Boats suggested, read that section, aloud to your parrot, several times, for both of your bennefit. At a year and a half, your amazon is not a baby anymore and is entering get into his teen years and hormones are flooding into him for the first time. We all know how human teens go a bit nuts during this period. Parrots are the same, only they can bite, out of sheer confusion on how they are feeling .
Some birds shrug this period off after a few weeks, some quite a bit longer. Each is different. The main thing is to maintain the boundaries you have set already, realize that any bites that happen should not be personalized (like he doesn't love me any more), and to keep loving him.
As they settle into adulthood, you will have seen your parrot at his worst, and you can develop an adult relationship with him.
