I have a 7 year old rescue Green Cheek and I'm trying to understand his behavior?

Green Cheek Conure (Hercules)
He has only ever been around men, but has grown quite attached to me.
He nests in my hair, mocks all my noises, and even screeches when I'm not around.
He is a lot smaller than the average green cheek, and started out a a breeder.

When I first got him, I had his wings clipped at a local pet store.
To my knowledge, he has not ever had this done.

When I lightly rub under his wings and down towards his tail, he makes this high pitch squealing noise(a lot like a baby bird) At first I thought it was because he liked it, but I'm not so sure now. Sometimes he will back up so I. Can run his neck and under his wings, but when I get to where they clipped, he bites me... And hard.
Any other conures I have had experience with love to be rubbed in those places.

I have really fallen in love with him, and he has become attached to me too. He makes kissing noises when I come in, dances with me, and says hello in my voice.
When he is on my shoulder and snuggled in, nobody else can touch him at all because he will bite the crap out of them and hiss at times.
When there is loud noises, such as people talking loudly, laughing, or screaming, he yells really loud.

Any tips would be great. Thank you!!!:green2:

Those are hormonal sounds. If you want to avoid behavioral issues in the future, do not rub his wings, under his wings, or anywhere below the neck as he will perceive this as an invitation to mate..not saying you can never touch those areas, but rubbing those areas will cause trouble in the future. Are you planning on letting his clipped feathers grow in ?

Not sure if I will or not. What would you recommend?

That's so odd. Why will it cause behavior issues in the future?

Its called sexual frustration. By stimulating him by rubbing under the wings and his back you are saying you are his mate but its not like you can do anything to satisfy the bird. So he can get angry, screaming, biting both himself and you, plucking his feathers in frustration. Its not worth the issues it can cause just so you can pet your bid like he is a dog or cat. I actually didn't say that line to be mean but wasn't sure how to word it:)
