I hate Renting !!!

So we are building our house, in the mean time we are renting. I love our landlord he/she is great (the couple) we rent a duplex and the people next door are CRAZY ! to our face they are nice and sweet and all that but behind our back they would drive a knive in our backs. they came over Sat night me and my husband both with the flu and saying they have MICE. Well we have chucky but we got him, heheheheh we have a huge field out back with horses in it::::daaahhhhh:::: MICE!!! yea ok here take some traps go get them .... They called our land lord saying because we have two birds and two dogs, the mice are coming from our house. Really !! I clean up my birds every freaken day and my dogs thank you, I also have a house cleaner once a week. This freaken women has two kids and lives life like Kermet the frog and miss piggy ! her house is a freaken miss but the mice has to because I have birds !

I was talking to our land lord yesterday and she told us what the women said and to think I was nice to her, and gave her mouse traps and made her kids cookies and everything ! well this afternoon im laying a suger trail from the field to her back door ! HAHAHA deal with them ANTS.

We must be related... I was thinking a line of sugar water... they will never see it, but ants will certainly coming marching right up to their door...

some people just suck... pure and simple as that... but karma is a @itch, will come back to them threefold... I typed in an entirely different thread that the energy you put out is what you get back... I think ants will be the least of the worries people like that will have come back to bite them in the butt.

Oh how awful. There will always be non-pet people who won't ever understand. Especially about birds. There is such a prejudice out there, as if they're some dirty lower life form.

If we told people our dog passed away, there would be a lot of understanding and sympathy, but if you say a bird passed away, many people would not understand (and laugh behind our back) just as if you said "my lizzard". Good luck with the situation. Hopefully you'll be out of there soon enough!

Hey, I'd be upset about a lizard too... we've lost some awesome lizards over the years...

Sympathy for a tarantula might be a little harder for me to work up....

But, in this case, I don't think its about pets... its about low life people who live a filthy life and draw in pests and blame others instead of improving themselves....

but, agree with you that there are people who just don't understand the loss of a pet... sometimes any type. So much of our society has that throw away mentality, so why get upset, just go get a new one....

okay, back to planning the ant attack....

If you think ppl have a crappy opinion about birds, imagine a rat lol! People would be horrified when I would show them pics of my sweet little rattie and promptly asked "Aren't you scared you'll catch rabies?". Le sighhhh...

Yes, I'm sure you'd get that reaction with rats too. People generally don't realize they're intelligent and can make good little pets.

Unless there's an outright infestation, and your some type of hoarder who never cleans, mice and other pests aren't anybody's fault. They just happen, and it's unfair of your neighbor to blame you or your animals. Thankfully the landlord is understanding that they are just a bunch of whiners.
