i guess no one on here has enough experience with sun conures

I post on here asking for advice cause I would like to know if I'm doing something wrong in the building trust and friendship part of owning a sun conure but I will look else where I guess or learn how to do it my self thanks for nothing read my posts and refuse to reply just cause my sun conure is a yr old and not 6 months or something but honestly he is the best bird ever even if he doesn't like me yet I will become best friends with the most beautiful sun conure ever

I browsed through the replies to your other posts, asking the same basic question...and...you were given very good advice.....slow down, your bird is not a kitten a dog that will wag its tail for a bowl of food or scratch between the ears. I don't know where you got the bird from, but they do not come trained to like whomever buys it, no matter what was paid.....

It could take a couple of weeks, a couple of months or over a year for a companion parrot, which a sun conure is, to trust someone, especially if that person keeps sticking their hand in the cage or chasing the bird around.....if you want the bird to trust you, then you have to allow it to get to know you and its new surroundings.....
