I got my dream bird today !

I have wanted a Grey for a long time, but couldnt afford their steep prices at this time. I found a true rehome on CL. She is 20 months old and the ad said low rehome fee to a good home with parrot knowledge. I called we chatted for hours and she asked for a $400 rehome fee with cage. Today I met her and she is mine now ! I am so happy !

I've had birds all my life. First budgies, then cockatiels, and then canaries. I.want a parrot something more interactive, however I am a student so a parrot that needs an overwhelming ammout of time won't work. Just a bird I can play and go out with any species recomended?

Thanks everyone. I feel very Blessed to have found her. Kira is settling in nicely, I can't wait till she comes off quarantine. Setting up vet visit today as she has to have a wing clip ASAP. She is flying all around my bedroom, and a clip will give her time to settle in and get used to her surroundings safely. She had a whistling contest with my Hubby last night, it was so cute.

I checked out adopting a Grey from northern Illinois. They told me I lived to far away for them to make a home inspection.
