Thank you!!! So far I know that he LOVES his safflower seeds, and when he takes his peanut (with shell) he runs around with it in his mouth and looks like a squirrel!! I didn't have my camera at the time but I will get one tomorrowGrats! He's going to be so happy with you! You have to tell me his funny habits when you guys get to know eachother more
. By the time I got my camera he already found his way onto his door-perch and was eating it 
. And he likes to give kisses! When I go *mwah mwah mwah* he'll go *mwah mwah mwah* . Except we make real kissy noises lol! And he likes to talk at night right before he goes to sleep, and after I turn out the lights. So far I've heard him say "Hi baby," "Cricket," "Hi Cricket," "Goodnight," " Are you okay?," "You're cute," (?) and some long thing that I can't figure out. It sounds like "____ cure cure cure" but I'm pretty sure that's not what he said lol 
. And whenever I take him to the bathroom, he rubs himself up and down the mirror and says "Hi Cricket" lol!!

I made the same choice too, I was after a Sun but they were quite hard to find at the time (and still seem to be) in Melbourne so I went for a GCC. I think they are great though!

Interesting you say that. My Loco would be close to 7 months old now and he's really starting to develop a loud screech. He doesn't use it often but I know where it has come from. Where I live we have a lot of wild Lorikeets, Rosellas, Galahs, Black Cockatoos and the main culprits, the Sulphur-crested Cockatoos! The Sulphurs are VERY loud and Loco hear's them, his scream sounds just like them. He also mimics the Lorikeets he hears as they fly by, he calls out to them as if to say "hello, I'm down here".
He only really uses it to call out to us though so it's not bad, I find it quite amusing
. All we have here are robins and sparrows . I live in a notsocolorful world. Compared to yours at least! He really is settling in well, he called for me when I came home from school today, and when I opened the cage he stepped right up onto my finger! And before, Crystal said he would run away from you inside his cage, but if you left the door open he would come out and step up outside of his cage. We've made a lot of progress! I think he chooses me over the cage now .

Oh they're very easy to clean!! Close up they look like they have tons of dents in them but they're actually very sturdy and wipeable. I love this cage!!
